My Dad. My hero. You taught me to be patient & compassionate, to keep calm in a crisis, to not take myself too seriously, to push myself to run a little further or a little faster, to believe I could do anything, to relish a challenge, to apply myself to whatever I did, to pick myself up and dust myself off when I fell, to always find the positive in a situation, to keep things in perspective, to laugh out loud watching telly, to switch lights off all the time, to wear jumpers instead of turning the heating up, to make gypsy's toast & a really hot curry, to change a fuse, to swim, to ride a bike, to drive a car, to drink pints, to find my own way in life, to do complicated maths, to be obsessed with symmetry, to listen to people and give balanced considered advice, to love wholeheartedly without being over emotional, to protect my family above anything else and so many more things. If I am anything at all like you, I am honoured.
